Unlike his colleagues who seemed eager to dive into their meals, Dream took his time. His sandwich sat for a long moment before he picked it up and gave a small, delicate bite. Even his eating was reserved, like an ancient being who had all the time in the world to swallow a mouthful. He ate and drank as carefully and controlled as he did everything else, taking a slow sip of tea afterwards. Matthew on the other hand was tearing into the pancakes and trying to cajole a fry from Kate, too.
"I do not share one person's dreams with another, no. That would be a betrayal of their unconscious," Dream confirmed with a single nod of his head. "The only instance where I would consider it is if the person wanted their dream shared for a particular reason." That really didn't happen, but he supposed that if Hob desperately wanted Dream to let his dreams by known to his new girlfriend, Dream would share their details. "Most people want to keep their dreams for themselves, or share them personally. Why do you ask?"
